Welcome to A Small Shop of Flowers! My name is Kristin, and I am the owner of this small flower shop. My journey with Sola Wood flowers began when my future daughter-in-law approached me with a unique request. She wanted to know if I could create a special arrangement for her upcoming wedding using "wood" flowers, Intrigued by this new challenge, I eagerly dove into the craft and, to my delight, discovered a deep passion for working with these beautiful materials. My specialty lies in reviving and reimagining vintage floral designs from the 1930s and 1940s. I take great pride in crafting each piece with care, using hand-dyed painted Sola Wood flowers to bring these nostalgic designs to life. With a last name like Flowers, it felt like a natural evolution to establish my own home-based shop. I am thrilled to have the opportunity share my artistry and creativity with you, and I look forward to helping you find the perfect floral arrangements for your special occasions!
